Founded in 1967 by Ali Salsal, Salsal papermaking company’s professional, commercial pedigree can be traced back to launching hygienic cardboard sheets. Over the next half a century, we grew our reputation for quality engineering and a dedication to our customers.
In 2000, the launch of new production line, 180 GSM1, 120cm in width, began its operation. Since then, we have demonstrated successful market penetration by reigning supreme in the consumer market with annual production of 2500 tons of cardboard and having the lion’s share to meet the demand of the domestic market in Iran.
In recent years, our trade practices have been recently booming, and this growth saw “industrial
production unit of Salsal paper” as one of the largest listed papermaking company in Iran.
In 2002, with regard to a dire need of the domestic market, while paper was in high demand in our country, the production line of Test Linear Paper and Fluting Paper, 240 cm in width, with annual production of 20,000 tons was imported from Japan, and within 2 years, in 2004, the operation of the production line through drawing on the domestic and foreign expertise came in commission.
